Our Story


“I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world.”  - Saint Teresa of Calcutta


Our founder, Regina Bandong, completed her 200 hour teacher program in 2017 and is a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor (CMMI) from the McLean Meditation Institute. She has been teaching meditation and mindfulness workshops to individuals and corporate groups from across Canada. All sessions are offered online.


When asked why she formed Gilas Mindfulness Institute, her reply:

"If I can show individuals how to find peace, love, and respite from the storms of their lives, in as little as 10 minutes a day, I have helped them write their own love letters to the world."
